Laura Andrucki Izzo
Psychotherapist
Laura Andrucki Izzo is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Certified Play Therapist and Certified Children’s Yoga Teacher. With over 15 years of clinical experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings, Laura has worked with children, adolescents, adults and families.
Laura has been trained at the Ackerman Institute for Family Therapy, Stanley Greenspan's DIR Institute and has worked with a variety of conditions including depression and anxiety, addictions and eating disorders. With training in sensory processing disorders, Laura offers children a particularly unique approach to therapy integrating movement, play therapy and traditional psychotherapy techniques.
Laura received her B.A. from the State University of New York at Binghamton and her Master’s in Clinical Social Work from Rutgers University. She has studied in Paris and London and lives with her husband and son in Rockland County, New York.
