Sandra P. Newman, M.A., L.D.T./C.
Sandi is a graduate of Columbia University, has a Master’s degree in Special Education and is a Certified Learning Disability Teacher Consultant. Sandi has over 20 years of experience working with a wide variety of learning differences that include ADHD, dyslexia, dyscalculia (problems learning math), reading and writing disorders, problems with executive functioning (organization, time management, prioritizing) and Non-Verbal Learning Disability.
Sandi has worked in both public and private schools, has been a member of child study teams and has raised a child with learning differences. Sandi is personally committed to helping parents advocate on their child’s behalf, and most importantly, Sandi teaches children how to advocate for themselves.
